When transporting oversized loads ( tanks, self-propelled artillery… ) it is necessary to have transit permission from each state to be included in the planned transport route. The deadline for issuing this permission depends on each state, but it does not take more than 3 weeks.
Overseas Transport
Generally, the buyer organises the transport, but we are able to help with the major part of the organisation. We provide the buyer with contacts for transport companies with whom we have good business relationships and long-term experience . We can also organise combined transportation, i.e. our company organises the transport to an EU port. In this case our services include loading, escort, transport to the port, unloading, storing the equipment and embarkation.
For overseas transport it is also necessary to take into consideration that not every ship or port is able to ensure the loading and transportation of military equipment.
The disembarkation itself is mostly organised by the buyer ( exceptions are possible, it all depends on mutual agreement ), who will receive an easy-to-read and comprehensible manual for starting the equipment in English so the buyer or the port staff can load the equipment for the next phase of transport organised by the buyer.
