A 122mm rocket launcher, type 70 (RM-70), a mobile reactive artillery weapon made in Czechoslovakia. A Russian BM-21 GRAD rocket launcher was mounted on a Czech Tatra T-813 8x8 chassis. Good shooting range, a strong explosive charge and shooting dispersion were suitable for concentrating fire on fighting equipment in a larger area, or for destroying firing positions. Some launchers were equipped with a BZ-813 hydraulic blade for trench construction.
 In 1966 the requirements for developing and producing a rocket launcher for the Czechoslovak People’s Army were specified. They were based on the Soviet BM-21 GRAD rocket launcher on a URAL-375D chassis from 1964. At the beginning of 1970 a test series was made and one year later the serial production began. The main production took place in Dubnica nad Váhom and 430 RM-70 vehicles for the Czechoslovak People’s Army were made before 1989.
